Blessed by God, Overcoming the Odds

As I was watching television on Sunday, I heard an interesting statistic from a minister preaching about failure and how people react to it. He stated that on average a successful entrepreneur fails an average of 2.5 times before achieving success. So I researched what percentage of business start ups succeed, or actually, at least survive.

It turns out that 70% of all business start ups fail in the first 5 years, and 90% fail within the first 10 years. I have always told everyone who was interested in starting a business the following, ” If you don’t believe in God, don’t start your own business, because you will have no one to pray to. And you do a lot of praying the first year that you make it.”

It turns out that the praying really doesn’t stop after year one. So when I proclaim that I and USA Rolls are Blessed by God, it is not merely words or a catchy phase. It is an actuality. There are so many examples I can give over our 15 years of how God carried us it is honestly overwhelming and would turn into a book.
